WSPay was established in 2004. as a company with a vision to enable real time payment for goods and services.
The company started as IPG (Internet Payment Gateway) that enabled connecting to two card issuing companies and credit card payment.
As leaders in innovation and providing new payment options from 2004 to today, WSPay (from 2023 Monri WSPay) has developed into a PSP (Payment Service Provider) that enables the connection of various sales channels with one or more card issuers and with several different payment methods.
Monri WSPay as a PSP enables the connection of an online point of sale with one or more card issuers and enables payment using different card brands - credit cards such as AMEX, DINERS, DISCOVER, Mastercard, Visa and Maestro, but also payment with other means of payment: Aircash, Google Pay, IPS, KEKS Pay, PayPal, VALÚ (depending on the markets), and other payment methods.
As leaders and innovators in online payment, we have created additional modules that are adapted to the needs of web shops and other industries, such as online booking, selling airline tickets, selling tickets, paying for accommodation reservations, but also charging for various services, payment collection by call for payment, sale and collection of payment for food and beverage services.
Monri WSPay enables the point of sale to charge cards through so-called eCommerce channel and it is intended for anyone who needs to charge for products or services in real time without the cardholder being present at the point of sale.
We provide different payment channels - the use of card tokenization and payment via tokens, as well as our products: Monri WSPayPer (standard and personalized), Marketplace, and the inclusion of new payment methods.
Card acquirers who operate in other markets and have a license to operate in the Croatian market have recognized us as a partner and have given us their trust and the possibility that merchants from Croatia can work in foreign markets, charging in Euros and paying out Euros to the merchant's foreign currency account in Croatia.
2023
WSPay (now Monri WSPay) officially continues operating under the Monri Payments d.o.o. company. As part of the e-commerce solution we are available in the entire region and combine all services within the group.
2021
Web Studio (WSPay) continues to operate under a joint name as part of Monri Payments. By merging the companies, the Remaris and Smart brands, favorite cash registers for caterers, and the Thor brand, the complete solution for cash registers and back office in stores, officially become part of Monri's portfolio. By integrating WSPay with online payment solutions, Monri has enriched its offer for online card acceptance and thus further strengthened itself as a leader in the card payment acceptance segment covering more than 10,000 merchants in the region.
